Day 56 - Thursday 25th February 2010

This really has to be one of the worst 'Youth' ads that I've ever seen? Heaps Awesome - I don't think so Comm Bank. Especially when you put it in the Drum Media. Fail.

Day 55 - Wednesday 24th February 2010

There's nothing like Fish and Chips from Balmain Blu (check out my rating!) on a weeknight when neither of us want to cook. Even better is when there is a special like this Snapper with Strawberry Chili Jam! How amazing does this meal look!? (And rating - overall it was a bit too sweet)

Day 54 - Tuesday 23rd February 2010

I love Janes Addiction. Favourite live band ever possibly. My Nexus One doesn't do the band justice - but here was the best shot that I could get. This is just before they started to play "Jane Says".... best moment in musical history.

Day 53 - Monday 22nd February 2010

Dinner at Mum and Dad's house means a trip across the Harbour Bridge, means trying to get my photo of the day in before I get to bed. Here's an arty shot taken from the car window.

Day 52 - Sunday 21st February 2010

With all of the rain, our back yard has been growing. My challenge this year was to grow a couple of plans - including a pumpkin and cucumber. They kind of both look the same - long and green - but at least they are green! This is my long and vine like Pumpkin Plant.

Day 51 - Saturday 20th February 2010

We only waited 6 months for this - the AC/DC Concert at Acer Arena! It was loud, it was big, and it was ultimate stadium rock n roll!!!!!!

Day 50 - Friday 19th February 2010

Day 50.... and I got a NEW ROBOT!!! Which I've just found out is the Omnibot Robot from Tomy. Thanks to our friends who shall remain nameless who managed to gift him to me.

Day 49 - Thursday 18th February 2010

I worked back late for a client event - so here is the tram stop as I waited to go home at 7pm. These are the stairs up to the Casino. Effects courtesy of a new app I downloaded on my Nexus One.

Day 48 - Wednesday 17th February 2010

I've been chained to my computer all week. Even today - as Tim and I had a date to see 'A Prohphet' in Paddington, the only pic I managed to get was of my computer as I finished off some work. Loser Chloe.

Day 47 - Tuesday 16th February 2010

I've downloaded a whole bunch of apps for my Nexus One and this one creates craaazy effects on your camera photos. Hence the fish eye shot of my little egg cup holders in the kitchen. Cute huh?

Day 46 - Monday 15th February 2010

After 4 or so weeks of endless rain, we finally have a day of sunshine. And after a day of sunshine, we have an amazing sunset - which I've shot from the top of Lilyfield Road. No touchups - these are the real colours of the sky.

Day 45 - Sunday 14th February 2010

Hello! Here I am! It's Valentine's Day today - and Tim has taken me out for breakfast. No flowers, but he has taken this photo of me. Better than a Hallmark Card.

Day 44 - Saturday 13th February 2010

It's date night on Norton St Leichhardt as we head to the movies to see 'In the Loop'.
It's also the day that I picked up my New Camera Lens! Haven't had time to play around with it too much, but here's a shot of Norton St Church and a couple of Inner West - like signs.

Day 43 - Friday 12th February 2010

It's done nothing but rain and be gloomy for 2 weeks, and it's supposed to be like this for another 2 weeks. Second Friday Night of FebFast, and on this rainy night we're doing not much except for some Thai Food and Water. Before we head out, a night time no flash photo of our front lawn... continuing with the Plant and Nature theme for this week.

Day 42 - Thursday 11th February 2010

I digress from my nature theme - as we're out on Oxford Street to see some trendy new band 'A Place to Bury Strangers'. On the way there was a butcher with these huge carcasses of meat. Being the good vegetarian I am, I thought it worthy of a picture. Gosh - I might nearly need to have a meat tag for this blog!

Day 41 - Wednesday 10th February 2010

In keeping with our nature theme this week, I thought I'd introduce you to our front lawn. With all the rain we've been having, it grows very fast. Tim never mows it. And it gets pretty dew on it in the mornings. And it's a much nice picture than the food that I ate at ARIA that night.... yeah well.

Day 40 - Tuesday 9th February 2010

We're attempting to grow a tomato plant in our back yard. We thought that it was dead but this week we found one single, baby green fruit (or vegetable?). Let's keep an eye on this one and see if we get something to roast at the end of this series.

Day 38 - Sunday 7th February 2010

It was our next door neighbor's 3rd Birthday, and it was like we'd stepped back in time to days of fairy bread, lollies and pink cookies. The birthday cake was a fabulous set of lady bugs. To capture this retro feeling - I attempted to get a Lomo Photo effect in Photoshop. Haven't quite mastered it yet, but colours are nearly right. Anyone who can help me get this right. Email me!

Day 37 - Saturday February 6th 2010

What better to put on a blog my a mostly-vegetarian - but a big chunk of raw meat. To celebrate our first weekend of FebFast - we're having the rest of our non-drinking All or Nuthin buddies over for dinner. Five meat eaters (Tim is in heaven) means we can cook a whole piece of lamb. Here it is - right before we lemon and seasoned it and put it in the over for a couple of hours. Apparently it was de-lish!

Day 36 - Friday February 5th 2010

** New Favourite Photo Alert! - Click on for Full Image**

First Friday of FebFast - and our excursion to the Ashfield Moonlight Cemetery Cinema is off due to rain. There's nothing close by to eat at, and not much on TV. After a walk around the streets to find some food (everything closed) I waited with my camera out the front taking photos on super long exposure time waiting for a car to come up the street. This one even came around the corner making for this great effect - and my favourite new photo.

Day 35 - Thursday February 4th 2010

If we're not cooking pasta or a toasted sandwich, then Pizza is the most likely item on the household menu. With the Street Book Club to be hosted at our place tonight, this was the quickest thing we could pull together. Tim is the master of the meal, cooking his Pizza to perfection. Note how finely the capsicum is chopped.

Day 34 - Wednesday February 3rd 2010

It's unofficial Food Week on this blog - as life becomes that little bit busier, and the only moment to pause and take a photo is at meal time. This time the meal is at Bondi Beach, as we attempt to see Frightened Rabbit at the Beach Road Hotel. Fish was dry, the weather was wet, and the band was on too late for us to hang around for. The chips were good.

Day 33 - Tuesday February 2nd 2010

These are my pots and pans in my kitchen. Tim and I don't cook much - and when we do it is quite often pasta. Tonight was no exception, after an excursion to the Gym, it was my turn to cook. Some instant ravioli and some sauce - voila!

Day 32 - Monday 1st February 2010

We're off to see Antony (and the Johnsons) at the Opera House on this Monday night - but first a meal in the city. Determined not to have Wagamamma we went instead to Suminoya . We all went for the more Korean styled Bim Bap stone hot pots - here's mine with the Red Red Cod Roe - which I've tried to enhance more in Photoshop. (and Antony was wonderful)
