Day 134 - Saturday May 15th 2010

Another day another birthday. Today it's AK's birthday down at a park in Glebe. It's a beautiful almost winter day, but as the sun goes down, so does the temperature. And yes - we left for home quite soon after this so I could rug up in the bear feet and doona suit.

Day 133 - Friday May 14th 2010

It's a week of birthdays. Tonight we're at our friend's birthday for balloons, tagines and this amazing chili chocolate cake! Happy Birthday!

Day 132 - Thursday May 13th 2010

Yawn. 7am conference call at work. This is what the outside of my office looks like at about 6.45 in the morning.

Day 131 - Wednesday May 12th 2010

One of us has turned a year older... so to celebrate - we're at the Balcony Bar for an evening of $10 Mojitos and Tapas. Maybe we should have eaten more and drunk less. But we did make it an official birthday - with Cake!

Day 130 - Tuesday May 11th 2010

Another gorgeous Autumnial morning. Here we are out the front of the house just before work.

Day 129 - Monday May 10th 2010

I'm sick of taking photos of the house after work, so I'm going to try and set up morning shots this week. So I think you'll need to get ready for some grassy, nature type shots. This morning we had a great view of a slightly foggy city skyline through the trees.

Day 128 - Sunday May 9th 2010

It's Mothers Day today, and Tim and I are talking out Mum x 2 for an afternoon of lunching in the pub and some lovely white wine. Thanks Mums for everything!

Day 127 - Saturday May 8th 2010

I bought a new Flash for the camera - and picked it up today. (the 430EX II). Since I've been asked to do the photos for a friend's wedding, I had to practise my flash photography - and so Tim had to be my model. As you can see - I haven't got the settings quite right yet...

Day 126 - Friday May 7th 2010

Tim and I are convinced that you can't get good Mexican food in Sydney. Tonight we're trying Izote where we're heading with some friends. The servings were huge and there was no Tequila (!?), but the cord tortillas were quite tasty. Overall I'd give it a solid 7, not terrible but not better than anything I've had at home or cooked by a friend. These prawns were actually a lot tastier than they look here. These look giant!

Day 125 - Thursday May 6th 2010

Tonight we're out at the Metro to see Kid Koala's new project The Slew. Like Led Zepplin meets Mix Master Mike, the show was pretty good despite the small crowd. It was however the first time I'd seen the Chandelier at the Metro not tied up to the roof.

Day 124 - Wednesday May 5th 2010

Much nicer than a Snuggie are my favourite Winter clothing item. My Bear Feet!!!! Soon you might even get to see my Doona Suit.

Day 123 - Tuesday May 4th 2010

Some days there's just nothing inspiring to take a photo of. Then you do something stupid like spill hot chocolate all over the kitchen. Snap.

Day 122 - Monday May 3rd 2010

Tim is chaining himself to the computer this week to get out some work for a Friday deadline. Lucky he has this great little wireless keyboard to make typing that much easier.

Day 121 - Sunday May 2nd 2010

Sundays are for fun things like cleaning bathrooms and washing the clothes. Fortunately I don't was clothes, I just take photos of them.

Day 120 - Saturday May 1st 2010

Nothing like a good hens night for a penis or two. At the Artful Hen in East Sydney - we had two hours of life drawing. Here were some of our results.

Day 119 - Friday April 30th 2010

Welcome back to the Pizza blog within a blog. This time we're at Fourth Village Providore
in Mosman to see if it really is worthy of a Sydney Top 10 Pizza reward. Plus it's a date with both our families.

Bonus points first for the cute Italian waiters who all must have fun with the elder Mosman Cougars.....

As for the Pizza - very disappointed that all of the vegetarian options were on a white base - while the meat lovers get all of the tomato bases. On arrival the Pizza's looked great and the crusts were perfect. However - the base got soggy very quickly and the ingredients weren't nearly as fresh tasting a places such as Lucios.

Overall - $35 p/h and the rating a #4 out of all of the Pizza places we've rates to date. Lift your game Mosman!
